The above are some of the words used by the member of the House of Representatives, representing Irepodun/Olorunda/Orolu/Osogbo Federal Constituency, Hon. Bukola Oyewo to describe the former governor of Osun State and the first Chairman of the APC, Chief Bisi Akande as he marks his 81st birthday.
Hon. Oyewo who stated this in a congratulatory message he personally signed on Thursday and made available to newsmen in Osogbo.
He stated that the likes of Chief Akande are rare and generational as they are blessings to races that are privileged to have them.
The statement reads in part, “As Chief is clocking another milestone of 81 years, on behalf of my family and the entire people of my constituency , I wish this rare gem, elderly patriot and gladiator a Happy Birthday.
“Sir, your years on earth have been time of diligent service delivered with humility and dedication. Your time as our governor in Osun State remains one of the best moments the state has enjoyed."
“Since time immemorial, you’ve been a man that exemplifies truthfulness, patriotism, diligence and commitment to the service of your creator and humanity and this is solely responsible for your successes in different capacities you’ve held.”
The lawmaker prayed to God to grant Chief Akande good health, abundant wisdom and knowledge to continue giving his best to humanity.
